Sherry Wood – 57.3%
My Tasting Notes:
Nose: Tobacco, dried fruit, dusty cupboard
Palate: The typical meaty Mortach taste, rather dry and slightly spicy
Finish: Long and dry, a bit of smoke
Overall: The palate is very dense in a way that I find it very hard to identify distinctive notes. This means it is a very typical and very fine Mortlach, but not quite as complex as others.
Score: 87/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
