Glenburgie 1968, 75 cl bottle

Gordon & McPhail – 40%

My Tasting Notes:

Nose: Raisins, dried figs, orange zest, caramel
Palate: Caramel, orange marmalade, ginger, slightly herbal, a bit watery.
Finish: Long and dry
Overall: A nicely balanced dram, the nose being fruitier than the palate. The bottling strength of 40% doesn’t serve it well, though.

Score: 84/100 – No price information as this is a collector’s bottle
