Amrut Peated

by Oliver Klimek on August 21, 2009

Cask strength from India – 62.8%

My Tasting Notes

Nose: Strong, smoky, dried figs and raisins
Palate: Figs, vanilla, sweet and not too peaty, quite spicy. Needs water
Finish: Medium long and dry with lingering smoke.
Overall: Quite unusual, too sharp if drunk neat. Not bad but not my cup of tea.

Score: 77/100 – Price Tag $$$$$ – Value for your Money $$$$$
